I mean Clint is my all time favourite, but even I know he wasn't as good an actor as Bob, who is different class.

It's pretty straightforward...
He co-founded and runs a film studio - TriBeCa Productions - which makes quite a few independent movies, or certainly "lower budget" films than the big Hollywood studios.
He makes money from doing ads and 'big budget' films that some people think are beneath him, and then he puts money into the production company to support projects he likes.
Simples.
Besides, he's Robert De Niro - he can do what he likes...

Lineker is a former sportsman and current TV presenter, ant and dec light entertainment TV presenters, they had no artistic credibility to begin with. Its different for Hollywood actors, at least those with a lauded body of work.
